Tony Bennett's Viva Duets

Tony Bennetts' Viva Duets VIVA DUETS the third duets-themed project from 17-time Grammy winner Tony Bennett, following the platinum selling and critically praised DUETS and DUETS II CDs which were all produced by Phil is now available to buy. Featuring many top names in the Latin recording industry, VIVA DUETS finds Bennett performing his greatest hits with a celebrated roster of artists including Marc Anthony, Christina Aguilera, Ricardo Arjona, Chayanne, Franco De Vita, Gloria Estefan, Vicente Fernández, Juan Luis Guerra, Dani Martín, Romeo Santos, Thalía and Vicentico. A truly international endeavor, VIVA DUETS, features performances in English and Spanish, with artists representing nine countries and three continents.

Phil Ramone to oversee Gershwin Prize

Phil is overseeing and musically directing the Gershwin Prize which honours Burt Bacharach and Hal David at The Library of Congress/The White House on May 8th and 9th.

Dionne Warwick Celebrates 50-Year Career At Grammy Museum With Clive Davis, Neil Portnow, More

2012 is Dionne Warwick, Burt Bacharach, Hal David's and Phil Ramone's 50th anniversary of working together and the occasion is being celebrated with a Phil Ramone production for Dionne. Presently being mixed, it contains 12 songs which contains six classics including a duet of 'Say A Little Prayer For You' with her son David Elliott, two brand new Burt/Hal songs and two taken from an album called Dionne in 1972 which are particular favourites of hers. Release is slated for September 17th 2012 with the title soon to be announced. {Read Billboard Article}.

For years singer Shelby Lynne had heard the comparisons with Dusty Springfield.
